Set in the summer of 1964, professor Carlos joins the couple Dário and Alda for a seaside vacation. As they linger on the sand and sea, the looming colonial war feels distant, creating a fleeting sense that time itself has paused. Their brief reprieve highlights both the intimacy of their companionship and the underlying uncertainty of the era.
