Kannan, a charismatic but enigmatic man, arrives in Malaysia to escape his shadowy criminal past and adopts the alias Bolt. He keeps a low profile while surveying his surroundings and building a new life far from his previous enemies. This relocation lays the groundwork for the intertwined fates of the other characters to come.

Shortly after his arrival, Kannan crosses paths with Arivu, a ragpicker who pretends to be a wealthy businessman to impress his girlfriend Kalpana. The two form a curious alliance that blends street wit with bold bravado. Arivu provides comic relief while hinting at the murky undercurrents of their world.

Kannan soon meets Rukmini, known as Rukku, a determined young woman trying to reclaim her late parents' house from her abusive stepfather, Rajadurai. She works odd jobs to make ends meet while facing constant pressure from him. Their meeting sparks a romantic connection that will drive much of the plot.

Rajadurai, a corrupt police officer, uses his power to coerce Preethi into having sex with him to avoid posting an intimate video online. The abuse highlights the danger surrounding the main characters. This cruelty deepens the tension and sets up the forthcoming confrontations.

Kannan and Rukku grow closer as they share financial strain and danger from Rajadurai. Their budding romance adds emotional weight to the escalating crime plot. The relationship motivates Kannan to go to extreme lengths to help her.

Determined to help, Kannan teams up with Arivu to obtain a loan of RM1,000,000 from Dharma, a ruthless loan shark who runs a dockyard. They head to Dharma's dockyard where Kannan sits at a poker table to build up a debt-free facade. As the stakes rise, Dharma himself joins the table and wins by rigging the game, worsening their predicament.

With debt mounting, Kannan decides to rob an armored truck delivering cash to the bank. He fights off the police and makes off with RM20,000,000. A flashback reveals that he had previously stolen Dharma's gun from his club, tying the heist to his past. Coincidentally, Kannan later learns that he has also won the same amount in the lottery.

Following the heist, Kannan and Arivu realize the wealth is more than they can safely carry, so they arrange for Kalpana to collect the lottery winnings to stay under the radar. Kalpana overhears a conversation between Kannan and Arivu about the bank heist, forcing them to reveal the stolen money to her. The trio grapples with how to hide or spend the windfall without drawing attention.

Kannan books Rukku a Rolls-Royce Phantom, buys her a dress, and invites her to a hotel. He intends to settle Rukku's debt by paying RM1,000,000 to Rajadurai at the hotel. Rajadurai recognises Kannan as the bank heist culprit and reveals his desire to keep the money, the house, and Rukku for himself. He takes the RM1,000,000 and tells Kannan to deliver the rest to his house.

Kannan devises an ingenious plan to trap Dharma and Rajadurai. He instructs Kalpana to seduce Rajadurai at a pub, and he tells Rukku to go to the police to report Rajadurai for domestic abuse. The setup triggers a dangerous sequence that will bring all the players into the open.

At Rajadurai's house, Kannan fights Dharma and his goons and defeats them. Dharma is killed in the struggle and Rajadurai returns home to face the aftermath with the stolen money already in play. Kannan incapacitates Rajadurai and escapes with RM1,000,000, leaving behind half of the stolen money as the others prepare their next moves.

Kalpana secretly places the rest of the stolen money in Dharma's vehicle, attempting to keep the windfall hidden from everyone. The move adds another layer of deception to the criminal web. Meanwhile, Rukku begins to sense that not all is as it seems.

The police arrive and conclude their investigation, revealing that a scuffle between Dharma and Rajadurai led to their deaths and that all of the stolen money has been recovered. The public announcement confirms the criminals' downfall and closes the case on the heist. The surviving players are left to reckon with the consequences of their actions.

Kannan, Arivu, Rukku, and Kalpana manage a precarious escape and celebrate their lottery winnings. The victory is tempered by the realization that their safety depends on keeping a low profile. They toast to their survival while the truth of Kannan's identity remains murky.

Arivu learns that the real Bolt Kannan never arrived in Malaysia, realizing he has befriended a fraudster instead. When he asks for the real identity of Kannan, the man simply smiles as the credits roll, leaving the mystery unresolved. The audience is left with a sense of unease about trust and identity.
