The work splits into two opposing parts. First, a series of static shots captures pianist Carles Santos performing Chopin’s Prelude in C‑sharp minor, Op. 45. In the second part he listens to that recording on a loudspeaker, then puts on headphones, letting silence fill the film for the entire duration of the prelude and immersing the audience in quiet.
