In a Belgian coffee shop, a waitress serves an enigmatic client. Their eyes meet, minutes later a tentative romance appears—just beginning, already unfolding, or never. The film emphasizes being seen through rhythmic editing, widescreen shots that turn everyday objects into abstract forms, and close‑up shots that give a striking, contemplative mood.
