Alley cats Babbitt and Catsello plot to eat the sleeping canary Orson, who nests atop a telephone pole. Catsello, gullible and loud, keeps trying to catch the bird, receiving harsh beat‑downs from the murderous little canary. In a final attempt he builds wooden wings for an air strike, but Orson's anti‑aircraft fire sends him crashing from the sky.
