In 1975, following the Carnation Revolution, Eduarda, João, and Mick travel from Northern Europe to volunteer at agricultural cooperatives in central Portugal. They join others assisting with farming and livestock, providing medical care, family planning education, and sharing films on sexual health, while also participating in local traditions. Although eager to contribute, these newcomers find themselves with many questions, and the established community faces its own uncertainties and challenges.
