From the rooftop, a sudden sound reveals the surprising culprit: the true Santa Claus has crash‑landed on Fred’s roof, hobbling with a sprained ankle and a cold. The crisis puts Christmas in jeopardy, and Barney suggests a bold fix: Fred should take over the delivering duties. Embracing the chance to save Christmas, Santa uses a touch of magic to transfer his suit to Fred Flintstone and transform Barney into a Christmas elf, while guiding Fred on how to drive the sleigh. The journey takes the duo around the world as they begin delivering presents.
