It is Christmastime in Bedrock, and the Flintstones and the Rubbles are busy preparing for Santa Claus to arrive in town. On the morning of Christmas Eve, Fred Flintstone is bustling with decorations, working alongside Wilma Flintstone and Pebbles Flintstone as the Rubbles drop by. Barney Rubble lends a hand to finish the setup before heading off to work, while Wilma and Betty Rubble discuss the Bedrock Orphanage Christmas party and whether Fred should don a Santa suit for the children. Wilma remains hopeful that Fred will change his mind if she keeps pressing him, setting the stage for a festive, if imperfect, plan.
At Slate’s Quarry, Mr. Slate picks Fred to be Santa for the Bedrock orphanage’s party that very night. Fred gladly accepts the honor, and Mr. Slate grants him the rest of the day off—but with a stern warning: show up on time, or risk losing his job. When Fred returns home, he shares the news with Wilma and quickly slips into the Santa outfit, savoring the moment with a hopeful song as he heads toward a spectacular entrance. Meanwhile, the household buzzes with last‑minute preparations as the couple’s friends and family rally around the plan.
From the rooftop, a sudden sound reveals the surprising culprit: the true Santa Claus has crash‑landed on Fred’s roof, hobbling with a sprained ankle and a cold. The crisis puts Christmas in jeopardy, and Barney suggests a bold fix: Fred should take over the delivering duties. Embracing the chance to save Christmas, Santa uses a touch of magic to transfer his suit to Fred Flintstone and transform Barney into a Christmas elf, while guiding Fred on how to drive the sleigh. The partnership kicks off with a few humorous mishaps but a clear, determined spirit to bring joy to the children.
The journey takes the duo around the world as they begin delivering presents. After successfully unloading half the gifts, a fierce snowstorm over China forces them to ascend to higher altitudes, where their sleigh escapes the worst of the weather but loses the remaining presents in the process. They contact Santa for guidance, who reveals the only option left: a trip back to his workshop at the North Pole to restock. He also phones Mrs. Claus to coordinate help with the North Pole crew.
Once at the North Pole, Mrs. Santa Claus and the elves help replenish the sleigh with a fresh batch of gifts. With renewed magic and teamwork, Fred and Barney race the clock, the sleigh roaring to top speed as they head toward Bedrock. They arrive just in time to slide down the orphanage chimney, conjure gifts with Santa’s magic, and recreate the festive mood inside. The miraculous delivery sets the night right, saves the Bedrock Christmas party, and secures Fred’s job, much to Wilma’s relief and the joy of the orphaned children.
