Hans, a German director, goes to Madrid to film a TV program about the city and the Civil War fifty years after it ended. With editor Lucía and cinematographer Goyo, he records streets while hunting locations and people linked to the conflict. He questions the project's purpose, clashes with producers, and finds a personal focus.
