A middle‑aged disabled man, cared for by his unmarried sister, starts a lonely‑hearts pen‑pal exchange unaware that the correspondent is his own sibling. As their letters grow longer, he finds himself falling in love with the woman behind the words, while she, realizing the writer is her brother, sees a tender, vulnerable side to him. Tension builds when he asks to meet her face‑to‑face.
