The film tracks the restless Sinsen gang through the highs and lows of 1958, a year marked by the American Explorer launch and the Soviet Sputnik III, events they barely notice. Their world revolves around rock concerts, hut trips, amusement‑park outings and occasional car thefts, obsessing over the Top Twenty on Radio Luxembourg and the latest Elvis movie, while loyalty to the group and, for a few, school responsibilities shape their lives.
