In a poignant flashback, we witness the heartbreaking collapse of the Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good. This catastrophic event resulted in the tragic death of Matilda Jeffries and left Hansel McDonald severely injured.

Following the disastrous events, Derek loses custody of his young son, Derek Zoolander Jr. This loss drives him into seclusion in 'extreme northern' New Jersey, shunning the modeling world he once dominated.

Billy Zane visits Derek to deliver an invitation from Alexanya Atoz, calling for his return to the fashion scene. Derek's desire to regain custody of his son motivates him to consider returning to modeling.

Hansel, living in the 'uncharted Malibu territories', learns from his orgy that he is about to become a father. Shortly after, he also receives Zane's invitation to join Derek in the fashion world.

Hansel is mysteriously summoned to St. Peter's Basilica at midnight, where he, Derek, and Valentina meet Sting. He shares a tale linking modeling to a fictional ancestor, Steve, associated with the mythical Fountain of Youth.

Derek confronts Jacobim Mugatu at the orphanage with Valentina's help. A shocking twist occurs when Derek is captured, allowing Mugatu to escape by helicopter, while Hansel cleverly sneaks aboard.
