Witchcraft V: Dance with the Devil

Marta, Nicole Sassaman and her boyfriend Bill, Freddy Andreiuci, run a grimy scam: Marta lures an unsuspecting date back to their motel, Bill knocks the date out, and together they loot the victim. This time the caper goes wrong when the victim is killed, leaving the couple with a troubling aftermath. With the body in the trunk, Bill lashes out in desperation, hits a homeless man, and nearly collides with televangelist Reverend Meredith, Lenny Rose, in a tense near-miss that unsettles everyone involved.

While the Reverend tries to help the homeless man, a mystic force shifts from the man into the preacher, mutating his demeanor and steering his attention toward his secretary. The preacher’s focus pivots toward Keli, and Keli, Carolyn Taye-Loren, becomes central to the unfolding disturbance as Marta and Bill bury their victim and stumble into a campsite run by Cain, David Huffman, who calls himself a collector.

Cain’s presence marks a new turn in the story: an attempted scam on Cain backfires, and the former marksman of misfortune uses a mystic sword to seize control of Marta, ordering her to kill Bill. She complies, and Cain reveals himself as an agent of Satan, turning the conspirators’ world upside down and setting a dark, otherworldly game in motion.

On the other side of town, warlock and attorney William Spanner from Witchcraft 2-4, Marklen Kennedy, and his girlfriend Keli are out on a date when Cain—the club’s DJ—sends the hypnotic tremor through the scene. Cain senses Spanner’s latent power and engineers a vicious trap: he lures Spanner onstage and plants a post-hypnotic suggestion designed to accelerate his plan of bringing Satan to Earth.

With Spanner acting out of character, Keli reaches out to Reverend Meredith, who immediately calls in white witch Anastasia, Aysha Hauer. Anastasia casts a protective spell on Spanner, trying to shield him from Cain’s manipulation. But Marta—who has been nightly seducing and ravishing William—strikes a devastating blow: Anastasia is killed, and the circle of protection begins to crumble.

Keli heads to Cain’s club to find William, only to be confronted by Marta. Cain prepares to sacrifice her when William arrives, bearing Reverend Meredith. William confronts Cain’s hold over him and engages in a tense duel, fighting off the evil influence that has twisted his reality. In a climactic turn, Cain and Marta are slain, and William and Keli are left to pick up the pieces, reuniting in the aftermath of a night where mysticism and crime collided with deadly consequences.
