As dementia blurs the lines between reality, dream, and nightmare, Rose experiences life as a unique time traveler. Her filmmaker daughter, Rea Tajiri, serves as both caregiver and documentarian, creating a poignant portrait of her mother’s journey. The film interweaves Rose's spiritual, philosophical, and detailed stories with years of family archive footage, conversations, and a fitting soundtrack, presenting a non-linear exploration of memory and time.
