Ex‑Coast Guard Jim Benson risks losing his boat when a couple hires him for a fishing charter; after a fight Jim and Sally are stranded broke in Mexican village. Two locals pay him to smuggle “wetbacks” into the U.S., then blackmail him to keep it running. When a trusted ally is revealed as a U.S. Immigration agent, Jim must decide to bust smugglers.
