As the sun-drenched tropical island beckoned a mismatched group of office workers for a rejuvenating team-building retreat, they remained blissfully unaware that this two-day escape would morph into a gripping fight for survival. Chris, the quintessential office worker and moral compass of the group, along with his fellow colleagues—Phil, the crafty strategist with a flair for idea theft; Lisa, the compassionate HR manager with an affection for Chris; Jared, the easygoing slacker blessed with quick wit; and Brenda, whose significance would soon prove invaluable—set out for what seemed like a leisurely getaway.
At first, their days were filled with cliched team-building exercises until catastrophe struck: the pilot was found dead, and their rugged ex-Marine guide, Storm, met a gruesome fate at the claws of a tiger.
In the ensuing pandemonium, Phil attempted to seize control of the group, but the others compelled Chris to take the lead thanks to his calm demeanor. However, Phil’s opportunistic tendencies quickly resurfaced, culminating in his grotesque suggestion to resort to cannibalism. His plot hit a snag when coworkers stumbled upon a collection of coffee beans loaded with hallucinogenic properties, igniting a wild and frenetic atmosphere among the team. The office workers soon split into two factions, with Chris rallying Lisa, Jared, and Brenda, while Phil gathered his own devoted followers.
With tensions escalating, Chris’s group discovered an abandoned building filled with essential supplies—a fortunate find in their dire situation. On the other side, Phil basked in his newfound authority, peddling mind-altering substances to his captivated congregation like a modern-day cult leader. As the stage was set for a dramatic conflict between the two groups, Chris’s team ultimately found themselves captured by Phil’s loyalists. But they refused to succumb without a struggle, as Chris cleverly pretended to experience a divine epiphany, enabling him to regain control and dismantle Phil’s tenuous grip on his followers.
As order was restored, a rescue ship soon appeared to retrieve the surviving office workers, leaving Phil behind in the chaos. In the wake of their harrowing adventure, the remnants of the group began to rebuild their lives. Chris emerged triumphant, inheriting Phil’s position yet opting to walk away with his love, Lisa. Meanwhile, the previously slothful Jared discovered a newfound direction in life alongside Brenda. As for Storm, he was apprehended for pretending to be an ex-Marine. Ultimately, the tropical isle transformed into a defining battleground, testing their strengths and forever altering their paths in ways they had never anticipated.
