Nuria enjoys a comfortable life with a loving family and a fiancé, but she remains legally married to Jorge. Once a successful CEO, Jorge now struggles, living in difficult circumstances with his former boss and friend, Lucas. Two years after their separation, Jorge hasn't forgotten her, and Nuria seeks divorce papers when she mistakenly believes he attempted suicide. Feeling responsible, Nuria confides in her parents, Miguel and Patricia, and discovers a web of lies surrounding Jorge’s past and her parents’ financial situation. As the deceptions mount, the situation spirals out of control, threatening everyone involved.
