This documentary explores the lives of beachcombers in Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Japan, revealing a shared concern about the pervasive issue of plastic pollution. Vast piles of human-generated trash cover coastlines worldwide, creating an ocean filled with plastic debris—remnants of our disposable culture. These items act as "time travelers," drifting across continents and posing a threat to marine life, often found ingested by sea creatures. The film also highlights the presence of naturally occurring seeds and plants, seeking new habitats in a changing climate.
