When bestselling romance author Kate Smith hits writer’s block on the final installment of her steamy Bed ’n Breakfast series, she sneaks into a tire‑depot waiting room where the hum of machines and free coffee spark her imagination. The rugged mechanic Miles Hudson notices her, and instead of reporting her, he offers a test‑drive—both of a car and the chemistry between them—giving Kate the inspiration she needs to finish her book.
