On 15 March, Ashraf Hussain, Francis Adaikalaraj, and RD Bohra are convicted and sentenced to 25 years for involvement in various anti-national activities. The convicts show no remorse and even play Chinese Chequers as the judge delivers the verdict.

The next day, a nuclear-capable ICBM named Agni Putra is dispatched toward the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, but Sugirtharaja and his henchmen manage to steal it. The theft sparks an urgent, high-stakes hunt to recover the weapon before it falls into the wrong hands.

Back at Headquarters, the panel led by Mr. Rao selects the off-duty Commander Arun Kumar Vikram to locate the missing missile. The assignment underscores the government's fear of a terrorist catastrophe and begins a covert chase.

During the mission briefing, Thangaraj overhears details and leaks them to Sugirtharaja, triggering a plan to eliminate Vikram. In the ensuing chaos, Vikram's three-month-pregnant wife Ambika is accidentally shot by a sniper, raising the personal stakes.

Vikram confronts Rao and exposes Thangaraj as the source of the leak. After torture, Thangaraj names Sugirtharaja as the mastermind before leaping to his death, sealing the betrayal and accelerating the mission.

Rao introduces Preethi, a computer expert who understands the Agni Putra's onboard systems. Although Vikram's brutal style initially irks her, she gradually warms to him and becomes essential to understanding and possibly reprogramming the missile.

Sugirtharaja's henchman destroys the evidence at Thangaraj's home, but Vikram and Preethi arrive in time to salvage clues. The trail points toward Salamia and a broader political plot, setting up a dangerous international chase.

The chase culminates at a cinema theatre showing a documentary on India-Salamia friendship, where Vikram spots Sugirtharaja in the crowd. He realizes Salamia distrusts India and that diplomacy may be blocked, pushing the mission toward direct action.

With diplomacy ruled out, Vikram and Preethi disguise themselves as folk artists and travel with a troupe to Salamia, ruled by Sultan. Along the way, Inimaasi, the Sultan's sister, saves Vikram from a snakebite and develops feelings for him.

Inside Salamia, the high priest appears as a puppet who secretly reprograms the Agni Putra. Preethi is captured by guards, forcing Vikram to improvise a rescue and continue the mission amid growing treason and danger.

Preethi pretends to be betrayed by Vikram and passes information to Sugirtharaja, while Vikram loses track of critical data and stumbles into a spa where he meets Inimaasi. Loyalties blur as the plan spirals toward a violent confrontation.

The Sultan orders Vikram to be decapitated in public after the chaos, but he escapes into the desert pursued by Sugirtharaja and royal guards. Inimaasi finds him delirious and nurses him back, while back at the palace the high priest stages a coup and seizes power.

Back in India, the Agni Putra's autopilot engages and officials monitor a 2D descent toward New Delhi, but the missile drifts off course and plunges into the Bay of Bengal, disarming automatically and averting a direct strike.

Sugirtharaja forces Preethi onto a glider while Vikram boards the plane with a lasso. A bomb detonates; Vikram and Preethi free-fall and grab Sugirtharaja's parachute, leading to his death. They touch down as Inimaasi arrives, and Vikram is torn between the two women, ultimately running away.
