Uuno and his wife head to their country villa for a summer holiday, while enjoying the countryside. He takes a correspondence violin course, builds a DIY instrument, but drops it when it consumes his free time, returning to his carefree life “in the shadow of a fridge.” The opening priest (voiced by Ere Kokkonen) announces his full name as Uuno Eero Turhapuro, later altered to Uuno Daavid Goljat Turhapuro.
