In 1975 the British government shut down a covert evolutionary program called BEAGLE, ordering all research destroyed. Decades later, the discovery of grotesquely mutated bodies near the old site draws Liz Shaw and the P.R.O.B.E. team. With a skilled security unit, Shaw races to uncover what haunts the lab—a threat that could redefine humanity.
