Two years earlier, Karthik first meets Jhansi at a temple festival. He becomes obsessed with her and starts following her, hoping she will fall in love with him, while Jhansi grows wary of his persistence.

To get closer to Jhansi, Karthik pretends to be the boyfriend of Raju's girlfriend Pooja, which sows confusion and jealousy. Jhansi misreads the situation, complicating their budding relationship.

At a wedding, the bride kisses Karthik after he improvises a song, which cements his reputation as a charming but noncommittal lover. Jhansi's suspicions deepen as she struggles to trust him.

Back in present-day Melbourne, Jhansi grows jealous as she observes the compatibility between Deepika and Karthik. This sparks a reconsideration of her own feelings and the possibility of reuniting with him.

Karthik tells Jhansi that he still loves her, not Deepika, through a heartfelt conversation. Jhansi, feeling unable to bridge their gaps, decides to leave him and heads to Sydney to start anew.

In the concluding interview scene, Jhansi deflects questions about her decision to leave. She reveals that she learned Deepika is married to Karthik and they have a child, affirming that her future lies in her own hands as she walks away.
