In 1990s Basque Country, young militant Josu Jon lies in a prison hospital after a police shootout erases most of his memory. While awaiting trial, fellow inmates urge him to recall his identity as a “gudari” and rejoin the armed struggle. At the same time, professor Xabier, threatened for his political stance, is involved with psychologist Francesca, who works with Josu. Their therapeutic relationship deepens, leaving Josu uncertain whether he wants to recover his past or remain oblivious.
