Pablo despises everything until Lucia appears, whom he idealizes as the answer to his woes. Yet Lucia is manipulative, pushing Pablo toward a breaking point. Their friends also struggle in doomed pairings: Ariel and Lola clash professionally, Claudio feels inadequate with Natalia, and Alejandro and Beatriz are torn by a large age gap. Conformity, fear, and laziness keep everyone trapped in false relationships.
