Mr. Menon finances and initiates the building of a 5-star hotel in Kochi, along with a small restaurant on a neighboring plot. Unnithan is trusted to oversee the project, setting up a powerful business foothold. This initial phase establishes the wealth and influence that drive future conflicts.

To protect him from danger, Kochuthoma sends his son Kunjumon away to Calicut. The separation creates distance between father and son and seeds future misunderstandings. It also postpones the reckoning that will come much later.

Menon departs for Singapore, leaving the management of his interests to others. His absence creates a power vacuum that Unnithan is eager to exploit. The distance also hides the growing tension between families.

Two decades pass and Unnithan moves to force Kochuthoma to vacate the site, arguing the restaurant harms the hotel's reputation. He begins to manipulate the situation to gain control of the property. The stage is set for confrontation and deceit.

Unnithan enlists Tipper Vasu to coerce Kochuthoma into signing away the plot. Kunjumon arrives and engages Vasu in a fight, ultimately defeating him. The clash marks a public display of the families’ rising enmity.

Lakshmi travels to her native land to aid her father and becomes entangled in the family feud. Her presence drives the moral center of the story and motivates others to take action. The journey also brings her into contact with the local hero of Calicut.

Before Kunjumon’s and his father’s imprisonment, Lakshmi meets Gulaan, the hero of the Calicut Market, and the two travel toward Kochi. Their alliance foreshadows the restoration of justice and the reclamation of honor. The journey to Kochi sets in motion the plan to challenge Unnithan’s rule.

Kunjumon, seeking revenge for his imprisonment, leases the hotel bar through Swamy, a corrupt gold merchant, and begins to spoil the hotel’s reputation. The sabotage fuels the antagonism between the families and complicates the path to redemption. The hotel becomes a battleground for power and pride.
