Tom Weaver confronts rumors of his wife’s possible affair after finding identical motel keys in Molly’s purse and his boss’s car. He confronts Molly, who denies it, and lies about where he’s going to chase a lucrative yet shady deal. The confrontation sets the emotional tension that drives his decisions for the night.

Under mounting stress, Tom shouts at Eddie, the kind security guard, as he steps into the building. The outburst foreshadows the danger he will face inside and highlights Tom’s fragile state. He proceeds deeper into the night’s events, intent on finishing the deal despite his misgivings.

Tom descends to the underground garage, reaching level E-6, where his boss warns that he has gone too far to back out. The boss makes it clear millions could be lost if the deal is interrupted. Tom, realizing the risk, chooses to quit the arrangement and prepare for a dangerous confrontation with reality.

Tom quits the deal and heads toward his car, only to find the garage powerless and his vehicle vandalized, leaving him immobile. A massive 6000-pound Blazer appears, its driver hidden behind tinted glass and intent on leaving Tom trapped. The deadly game begins as Tom realizes escaping will be anything but easy.

Tom tries to escape via the stairs, but they’re chained from the inside and the elevators are out for the night. He is forced to navigate a relentless chase through the garage as the truck taunts him with horns and lights. The environment itself becomes an enemy as exits disappear.

A frightened coworker appears, mace in hand, but flees when she panics. Tom discovers a hose attached to the truck’s exhaust and realizes carbon monoxide is filling the space. He understands he must endure and find a way to outlast the killer rather than outrun him.

Tom climbs atop a construction truck and, from that higher position, discovers the dead body of the woman who maced him earlier. The sight is a grim reminder of the night’s danger and the killer’s willingness to eliminate any obstacle. He uses the vantage point to plan his next move in the claustrophobic arena.

A repo man confronts Tom and attacks on sight, but is thrown onto exposed nails and impaled, dying before he can reveal anything. Tom initially thinks the repo man is the killer, adding to the confusion as the killer remains at large. The true threat continues pursuing him through the garage.

Tom retrieves a pistol from his boss’s car and finds the boss dead, having been stabbed. The boss confirms that Molly did not betray him and that Tom’s wife had no part in it. The boss’s dying warning that Tom will not be allowed to leave the garage alive sharpens the personal stakes.

The killer is revealed to be Eddie, the lonely security guard who snapped under stress and jealousy. He had killed others to save Tom for last, exploiting Tom’s paranoia to fuel his rampage. The revelation shifts the danger to a direct confrontation as the pursuit continues.

Molly is bound in a toll booth and Tom frees her just as Eddie smashes the toll booth with the truck. The police arrive and Tom borrows a patrol car to confront the truck, planning to shoot Eddie through the windshield. The showdown ends with Eddie’s suicide as the police finally take control of the scene.

Tom and Molly embrace at the garage’s top as the threat subsides and the police secure the scene. Molly’s casual question, 'where did you park?' injects a mundane, human moment into the night’s terror. They walk away together, their bond restored as danger fades away.
