In 1993 Serbia, amid hyperinflation and economic collapse, Milan—a die‑hard Partizan fan—shares a flat with a painter who sells artwork to the new elite. Milan falls for a phone‑sex operator, while their friend works as a treasury guard at a bank overseen by the unscrupulous “Serbian mother.” Together they plot to rob the bank and flee to a sun‑lit island with palms.
