When a priceless masterpiece is stolen, the family replaces it with Bertram’s crude kindergarten oil painting, setting off a chaotic chain of events. In this 1982 family comedy filmed alongside Kidnapping, the well‑meaning but often unruly Bertram, his scheming Uncle Georg, and their many siblings find themselves in hot water as their slapdash artwork is mistakenly identified as a famous museum piece, leading to comedic misunderstandings and frantic attempts to set things right.
