In the small Mexican coastal village of El Roblito, 16-year-old Ñoño appears to live an idyllic life with his family. However, he harbors a secret and grapples with defying gender norms. He courageously decides to tell his parents he wants to live as a woman, a challenging decision within a culture steeped in machismo and transphobia. The film explores themes of identity, family, and acceptance through a poignant narrative of silence, laughter, and games, complicated by a shocking discovery.
