Set in the early 1980s amid a brief surge of left‑wing activism among German youth, the satiric comedy follows Ingo and Nadja, a couple with an open relationship, as they head to a ski chalet in Austria owned by her parents. Their weekend is interrupted when friends of Nadja’s activist brother Knut arrive, only to learn he’s been arrested during a protest. The group debates whether to rescue him or honor his cause by skiing.
