Danny Warren, a former minor‑league shortstop, goes undercover as a narcotics officer in a high‑school adult‑education class to bust a drug ring. He becomes entangled with a tempting teacher and a motley crew of ex‑cons, undocumented immigrants and clueless baby boomers. Amid swimming lessons and wine tastings, their misadventures spark a series of comic catastrophes.
