The name ‘Snooks’ comes from the Danish idiom “leaving the Snooks behind,” a phrase Eigil’s parents use to describe someone going crazy. In this live‑action‑and‑puppet hybrid, seven‑year‑old Eigil imagines the Snooks as a gnome‑like companion who becomes his best friend during a summer holiday. Their fun escalates when a mischievous cat joins them.
