Dying is a lousy way to make a living. Swaggering, womanizing Jerry and his hen‑pecked sidekick Pat are in a bind: their clients aren’t dying quickly enough. They purchase insurance policies from the terminally ill and gamble on when they’ll kick the bucket. Their fortunes shift when they encounter Barbara, a woman with a $2 million policy and only three months left to live.
