After his brother Mackie is killed while trying to deliver $500,000 to mob boss Jack Fisher, saxophonist Mike Teller is wrongfully convicted and spends five years in prison. On release he discovers Fisher has kidnapped his wife Lisa, believing Mike stole the cash. With the aid of Mackie's Vietnam‑war comrade Harry Crawford, Mike rescues Lisa and battles the mob from Harry’s remote cabin, seeking vengeance and to clear his name.
