A secret jet capable of three times the speed of sound is being built by a team of scientists. On the day of the test flight a researcher is killed in a mysterious accident, sparking debate over whether the aircraft should be ground‑controlled or piloted by Heathley (James Donald) himself. Tensions rise as a colleague exploits Heathley’s distracted marriage to Lydia (Phyllis Calvert), and the group must also uncover the enemy agent sabotaging the project.
