Harada, a scenario writer, learns his best friend will propose to his ex‑wife. Shocked, he sinks into melancholy over his failed marriage, then watches a Rakugo show. Afterwards a stranger invites him home; the man and his wife resemble Harada’s parents, killed thirty years earlier when he was a child, hinting at a strange mystery.
