A conversation unfolds between director Carmen Castillo and Marcia Merino, called “La Flaca Alejandra,” who after being tortured by Pinochet’s secret police (the DINA) became one of its collaborators. Merino betrayed Castillo, whose newborn child died during torture. Almost twenty years later, Castillo returns from exile to film this documentary as Merino, now before a court, decides to name the former DINA officials who once worked with her.
