Leo Kohlmeyer, a cat who can speak, inherits $5 million from his deceased owner. He is placed under the care of the owner’s in‑laws, whose children Bart and Veronica discover Leo’s ability to talk. Meanwhile, the clumsy but scheming Rigsby couple plot to kidnap Leo in hopes of claiming the fortune for themselves.
