The Return of Count Yorga

Cynthia Nelson, a teacher at the orphanage, begins organizing a fundraising costume party to help raise money for the children. She coordinates with staff and volunteers, selecting costumes, decorations, and the guest list. The event is meant to bring the community together and support the orphanage.

Tommy wanders into the nearby cemetery and overhears a commanding whisper telling things to rise. The ground shifts as the newly risen vampires emerge from their graves. The eerie scene marks the beginning of a terrifying chain of events.

Tommy attempts to flee but encounters Count Yorga among the newly risen dead. The count exerts unsettling control, sizing up the boy as a potential pawn or threat. This encounter signals Yorga's interest in Cynthia and his looming influence over the town.

During the fundraising party, Yorga surreptitiously bites Mitzi, draining some of her vitality. He becomes obsessed with Cynthia, seeing her as a potential bride. The festive atmosphere devolves as guests begin to fall ill and draw uneasy conclusions.

Back at his manor, Yorga is greeted by Brudda and the cemetery vampires. He dispatches them to Cynthia's house to stalk and strike at her family. The invasion marks the start of a full-blown assault on Cynthia's circle.

The vampires overwhelm Cynthia's home, subduing her family while Tommy remains under Yorga's hypnotic influence. Cynthia's memory of the attack is suppressed as Yorga manipulates her perception of events and her future choices. The threat to Cynthia becomes personal and immediate.

The next morning, Jennifer, the Nelsons' mute maid, discovers the bodies and Tommy nearby, and she calls the police. Brudda arrives to move the corpses to a quicksand pit on Yorga's property, attempting to erase the evidence. The scene sets the stage for an investigation and mounting suspicion.

Yorga kills Mitzi's boyfriend and drains his blood, then turns Mitzi herself into a vampire. The brides begin to proliferate, expanding the threat beyond the initial attack. Mitzi's transformation foreshadows a larger vampiric web around Cynthia.

Jason is lured to Yorga's mansion and reunites with Ellen, who has also become a vampire. The brides launch their attack, and Jason is strangled by Yorga after a desperate struggle. Brudda leaves Jason's body as a grim sign of the rising danger.

That evening, Tommy murders Jennifer with a knife. The act confirms his deep entanglement with Yorga's influence and jolts the others into a full rescue effort. The crime heightens the urgency of stopping the vampire threat.

David Baldwin, Reverend Thomas, and police detectives prepare a rescue mission at Yorga's mansion. The Reverend distracts Yorga to enable the search, but he is deceived by the vampire and falls into a pit, meeting a fatal end. The operation shifts to a dangerous confrontation with the undead at close quarters.

Baldwin and Cynthia escape the brides and confront Yorga on a balcony, where a tense duel ensues. Cynthia's memories of the massacre resurface, and she drives Yorga to his death with a battle-axe. Baldwin defeats Yorga but is revealed to be a vampire himself, biting Cynthia, while Tommy remains nearby at the orphanage; the chilling twist hints at a darker future for all involved.
