A group of factory workers discovers that management is secretly removing machinery and resources from their workplace. Attempting to document the disappearing equipment and prevent production relocation, they are then idled at their posts as a retaliatory measure during tense layoff negotiations. The resulting pressure and uncertainty lead to a fracturing of the workforce and a growing sense of societal breakdown.
