After Benno Geyer fails his Abitur because of crippling exam anxiety, his brother Dr. Fritz Geyer assumes his identity and enrolls in high school under Benno’s name. Though he easily earns top marks as a perfect student, his classmates resent him, prompting him to launch a series of increasingly outrageous pranks in a desperate bid for attention.
