Nis, a brilliant Danish pre‑teen, spends his summer learning Latin to research the Knights Templar inheritance on Bjornholm Island. He drags his friends—Mathias, a muscular jock, and Kathrine, who visits to spend time with her father—into the hunt for hidden treasure. With Mathias’s strength, Kathrine’s contacts and even Nis’s outspoken younger sister’s remarks, they uncover two rival medieval brotherhoods descended from 12th‑century Templar factions and face growing danger.
