Former British Secret Service chief Philip Kimberly, who defected to the Soviet Union, undergoes extensive plastic surgery before the KGB dispatches him back to Britain on a mission to recover vital documents. Once in possession of the papers, he cunningly turns both MI6 and the KGB against each other, exploiting their rivalry for his own advantage.
