During the Japanese occupation the police station served as an army club, and on V‑J Day many Japanese officers committed hara‑kiri there, turning the building into a haunted house. Petty thief Ming is detained in the basement. On the Ghost Festival, when spirits may roam, a ghostly Colonel bites Ming, turning him into a vampire.
