Baron Ivan Rassimov, a brilliant scientist, perished in a laboratory fire. His daughter Tanja, horrifically scarred, withdraws from the world behind a dark veil. Former student of Rassimov, Professor Nijinski marries Tanja and becomes obsessed with restoring her beauty through skin‑transplant procedures. To achieve his aims, Nijinski kidnaps attractive young women, using them as donors for his ruthless experiments.
