Following the sudden and devastating murder-suicide of their parents, twin sisters are placed in the care of a foster family. Their foster mother appears kind, but her husband harbors deep resentment. As the girls adjust to their new lives and tensions escalate within the household, a growing sense of unease develops. It remains unclear whether the threat comes from the foster father's volatile temper or from a darker secret connected to the twins themselves.
