A young woman, Zilan, returns to her hometown seeking answers about her brother’s death at the hands of ISIS. She discovers the town embroiled in a violent conflict, with citizens demanding political autonomy and facing harsh repression from police and the army. The resistance lasts over 100 days, and Zilan finds herself drawn into the struggle, refusing to be a bystander. Drawing on the diaries of those who fought and the accounts of survivors, the film explores themes of hope, friendship, sacrifice, and loss within a group of young people fighting for freedom.
