The Dragon Spell

Cyril's village enjoys a quiet life after defeating the Dragon. The Dragon's skin hangs in Cyril's home as a constant reminder of the battles past. The family shares affectionate moments, with Nicky dreaming of heroism despite his youth.

Grandfather Danylo notices a comet and foresees the Blooming Fire Flower, key to power. He instructs his apprentice Eddie to deliver a message to Cyril. The mission sets the stakes for future events and hints at a looming threat.

Cyril asks Nicky to stay behind, but the boy slips away with a small calf, seeking a test of courage. This act pulls him into the adventure that will challenge his bravado and shape his destiny. The family watches with a mix of pride and worry.

From overheard talk, Nicky learns that the Dragon's spirit inhabits the Witch and that the Fire Flower could empower it again. Eddie presses Nicky to seek the Fire Flower in Divinalia, warning of the danger if it falls into the wrong hands. The plan to rescue and end the threat begins to take shape.

A misfired spell sends Nicky and Eddie to the magical land of Divinalia instead of the intended destination. What should be a hopeful quest quickly becomes a rough-and-tumble misadventure. The change of scenery tests their courage and resourcefulness.

In Divinalia, Nicky meets Roksolana, an orphan girl, and her lively squirrel Kamikaze. The two form a bond and quickly join the quest to thwart the Dragon's return. A mix-up remains about Roksolana's identity until she reveals herself as Roksolana.

The Witch senses the newcomers and sends a troll named Tatya to capture Nicky. The chase separates Nicky and Eddie, forcing the children to press on toward the Fire Flower with Roksolana leading the way. Homefront, Danylo builds a helicopter with Cyril's family to reach Divinalia.

The Witch traps them and conjures ghosts that imitate Cyril and Danylo. Nicky discerns their inauthentic nature, while Roksolana remains loyal. A hidden abandoned house reveals a clue pointing toward an enchanted lake that opens a treacherous path to the Fire Flower. A stone guardian tests them and lends a firefly to illuminate the way.

The Witch captures Roksolana, only to discover that the girl’s true family identity lies within the Witch, now inhabited by the Dragon's influence. This twist deepens the threat and binds Roksolana's fate to the group. Danylo's helicopter finally lifts off, carrying Cyril, Maria, and Bohdan toward Divinalia to join the fight.

Nicky locates the Fire Flower but refuses to surrender it to the Witch. Eddie tries to stand in the Witch’s way, but she seizes the flower and uses its power to reanimate the Dragon. The final confrontation becomes unavoidable.

Cyril, Maria, Bohdan, and Danylo rally around Nicky's family as Eddie and Nicky steal a helicopter to divert the Dragon's attention. Nicky recalls that his own flame may be the key counterblow; when the Dragon exhales, the misfired flame rips through its torn hide and sets the Dragon ablaze. The Dragon is defeated in a climactic blaze that ends its threat.

Nicky is celebrated as a hero by his parents, and Eddie's spellwork earns Dmytro's recognition. Roksolana stays in Divinalia with her mother, while Eddie helps return Nicky and family home. A final misstep leaves Eddie briefly stranded in Divinalia, hinting that adventures may continue.
