Fire, water, wind, earth and emptiness are the five elements that inspired the Book of Fate, once kept in a realm free of suffering. Humans forged a pen to command the book, using its power to rewrite deeds and revive the dead, which bred fear, war and darkness. Lost for centuries, the book reappears on Earth, and a prophecy says a chosen one must retrieve it, beginning a long, grief‑laden quest.
