In this sharp satire, Peter Slovan examines power’s corrupting effect through Barnabáš Kos, a modest triangle player promoted to head an orchestra despite being unfit. Admiration erodes humility; he pursues absurd ambitions, becomes a public spectacle, and his brief rise ends abruptly. The orchestra mirrors the mechanisms of a corrupt apparatus.
